A feel-good event where you solve real world problems. You get together with new people, bring your energy, your passion, your skills or a fuzzy idea and work out something new during the weekend. Stiftelsen Soria Moria, supported by Greenpeace and Startup Norway are offering you the chance to take action, by getting involved in a fun 3-day workshop 18th-20th of January.
What are the future challenges for fundraisers and how can we solve them?
The Toolbox for fundraisers and volunteering organizations contains essentially the same tool-kit as ten years ago. We are in the middle of a technological revolution, but the volunteering industry are lagging because of resource contraints. We will take a look in the crystal ball with about 30-40 dedicated people and see how we can develop tools and methods for tomorrow's donors. New technology and a new digital generation requires new thinking.
For three days, you will have the opportunity to create ideas and solutions for voluntary organizations. How to raise more funds? How to make more inpact? How can these organizations involve more volunteers? Or are you up to something completely new? Everyone attend in the same spirit. Theres no restrictions. Ideas can be given to organizations, or be your own project.
The event is supported by Greenpeace and you are welcome to use them as a case, give them a campaign or solution if you wish. All angles are welcome. As Greenpeace are involved, projects on how to save the environment would for example be a great fit. If you already working on a green project, use the weekend to push the project one step further.

18:00 Opening with speakers as Erlend Schei, (founder of nerdaid.com) Anne Louse Hübert (founder of Aid In Action) and Greenpeace amoung others. The event will soon be turned into a workshop format faciltated by Marte Sootholtet and it will be up to you and the team to work out some fun stuff.
22.00 Get a good night of sleep, or go for some beers.

Work it out. Ideas and projects are tested, created and refined. Mid status-presentations with feedback at 18.00.
When you are happy with the days work, get some sleep.

09.00 Good morning. Last finishing.
16:00 Present the weekends work and what your team came up with. Best projects will be decided by the other participans with an "applausometer".
17.00 Closing - You'll be just in time to chill out before monday hits you again. (Probably not that hard as you now know how awsome you are!)
